ProjectPro Overview

Project Costing

ProjectPro has user-definable cost categories such as labor, materials, subcontractors, equipment, manufacturing, burden and adminis- trative. Many project management inquiry screens with “drill-down and around functionality” along with several construction-specific reports.

Contracts and Change Orders

ProjectPro provides project contracts and change orders with owners, general contractors, architects and engineers. Contracts can breakdown into multiple billable line items based on percentages, units or lump sum values.


ProjectPro supports all five (5) methods of work-in-process. These are “Percentage of Completion”, “Completed Contract”, “Cost Value”, “Sales Value” and “Costs of Sales” methods.


ProjectPro’s resource application is one of the most valuable for a business. Optimizing the use of employees and equipment is performed with the resource applications. When integrated with project costing and customer invoicing, the system provides complete and fully-integrated costing and time and billings capabilities.

Receivables and Payables

ProjectPro gives you an efficient vendor and customer management system that helps you strengthen business relationships. ProjectPro helps you take complete control of your money by keeping detailed records of every purchase and billing. Even in an international environment, the receivables and payables application can help manage both domestic and foreign currencies. Receivable and payable retention transactions can also be managed from within ProjectPro.

Project Billings

ProjectPro offers progress billings for calculating and generating project invoices based on percentage, units, and lump sum dollar amounts. The progress billings can create AIA G702/AIA G703 documents, as well as generic billing formats that can be customized. These billings support change order billings on the same progress bill. Includes “version management” of each billing requisition to enable easy corrections to previously released bills.

Cash Management

ProjectPro’s cash management provides an efficient means of tracking bank accounts. The cash management application is fully integrated with the general ledger, accounts receivable and accounts payable. Cash management also includes check writing along with an easy to use bank reconciliation capability.


ProjectPro’s payroll application enables time journal entries or payroll journal posting to directly update labor costs to projects. ProjectPro can calculate labor burdens to post across multiple projects and change orders. Prevailing wage rates can be established on a project by project basis.


ProjectPro’s subcontract application allows for the management of subcontractors by creating subcontracts for vendors that provide subcontract work on one or more projects. Users can simply pull cost budget lines into a subcontract then easily create purchase orders or purchase invoices for subcontracted work. Insurance tracking is available to monitor valid certificates of insurance. Lien Release Waiver are generated as “Progress” or “Final” during payment process.

General Ledger / Financials

ProjectPro’s General Ledger is the central application in ProjectPro. It is totally integrated with all other ProjectPro applications. With its online integration and flexible work tools, the General Ledger offers an efficient means of centralizing your company’s accounting information. You can produce financial statements—profit/loss, balance sheet, and cash flow all following FASB standards.

Microsoft Office Integration

ProjectPro has been designed to work together with Microsoft Office 2007. The integration to Microsoft Office 2007 will help you increase the penetration of business data throughout your organization, and deliver important benefits to employee productivity, customer loyalty and overall business efficiency. ProjectPro enables you to work in a familiar environment with shared user interface through Outlook and Sharepoint.
